These games are meaningless. Who cares if they win or lose at this point, just give the younger guys top minutes for the experience. I'd be happy if they lost all the rest and try to get a better draft pick.

I really want Juraj Slafkovsky. That kid is built for today's NHL and will give us the size we desperately need without making a complete sacrifice of having no skill. We'd only need to move up to #2-3 to get him probably. Simon Nemec would also be a big help on D. We just need to lose these last 3 games and hope Philly and Seattle string together 2+ wins each and we could possibly slide up to #3 w/o having to rely on the lotto.

That hit by Bahl was perfection. We need guys who can crush oppositions like that without being a complete pylon on skates. I really hope he can keep growing his game and become a staple in our bottom 4 on D.

Must-lose game 1 of 3 tonight. Great Chicago won last night, just wish it wasn’t against Philly in regulation.

He'll have one bad shift then benched so we can continue to watch Ty Smith turn the puck over and be grossly out of position for the rest of the night.

Per Greg Wyshynski, it is truly 50/50 on whether Ruff is back next season. The staff will be evaluated after the season. He's had NHL sources tell him that they think Ruff is cooked, but there are 2 reasons why he could return. Management has liked what Ruff has done in the progression/development of Bratt and Hughes as well as other players, and Jack in particular is a big Lindy fan. Also, management recognizes that goaltending has been the worst in the league and that shouldn't be used against Ruff. Hard for any coach to have success record/standings-wise when goaltending has been this poor.

I think I'm OK if Ruff is still here next season, but there is absolutely zero reason Recchi should be as well. Getting rid of Recchi and getting a whole PP system as well as finding a goalie are co-priority #1 this offseason.

It's interesting because last season we had a terrible penalty kill and Nas really turned that around. I think Lindy is still questionable for a long term solution but if Fitz can figure out the goaltending and find an acceptable powerplay coach we're not a horrible team.

I think there has been some questionable deployment of players this season though by Lindy but it's hard to say whether that is fully on him or also on the GM. Essentially being down a roster spot all season to have Geertsen is just bad management. Not sure whose decision it was to use McLeod has a shutdown center for half the season too.
